Walkway/Steps/Pavers

This customer needed easy access to the basement area from the driveway parking area without going through the house. A retaining wall with flower beds on each side incorporated with a set of steps with paver treads. The landing was laid with pavers with an extra walkway joining the existing basement area. Another flowerbed was built on the other side of the basement wall as well. A set of wood steps were built inset with pavers to accommodate the steep rear yard where fruit trees are planted. New sod was planted, electrical service run to patio lights, and sprinkler system relocated for the flower beds are just a few of the services we provide.

Flower Bed with Drain Pipe
The owners had a flood in their yard due to higher mountain area runoff coming straight into the backyard after heavy rain. Drainage ditches, concrete catch basin with 15" drain pipe surrounded with a retaining wall and flower bed. Additional trees and shrubbery were planted. A set of circular steps were built for easy access for planting. Additional plans involve a waterfalls coming over the back wall fed by a creek from the woods area.
Silt Fence/Erosion Control

An 87 ac. commerical site in Savannah needed our assistance in site prep and erosion control. Final phase included finish grading for site water runoff while protecting area wetlands.
Source point runnoff basins were built to prevent flood area silt from reaching local waterways. The complete site was then hydroseeded. Doright continues to do site maintainence and monitoring on this site. Several miles of type A and type C silt fencing was installed per engineered plans.

Country Club Estate/Rock Walls

This project was 3 actually. The first was a driveway water control problem where the water was coming down hill and washing away the lower part of the concrete foundation of the driveway. Three rock retaining walls were built to slow the water down and catch it into catch basins and channel to the foot of the hill into the flower bed. The situation tensed as there was no sewer or drain basin on this side of the street, so a 30' long 10" pvc pipe designed as a french drain was installed to distributed the water evenly over the entire flower bed to dispurse the water slowly. The pipe was then covered with natural rock to hide it and help decorate the flower bed. The ground contour next to the drive was resloped to carry any other waters away and the area relandscaped and sodded.
