This project was 3 actually. The first was a driveway water control problem where the water was coming down hill and washing away the lower part of the concrete foundation of the driveway. Three rock retaining walls were built to slow the water down and catch it into catch basins and channel to the foot of the hill into the flower bed. The situation tensed as there was no sewer or drain basin on this side of the street, so a 30' long 10" pvc pipe designed as a french drain was installed to distributed the water evenly over the entire flower bed to dispurse the water slowly. The pipe was then covered with natural rock to hide it and help decorate the flower bed. The ground contour next to the drive was resloped to carry any other waters away and the area relandscaped and sodded.
